จากการค้นคว้าข้อมูล พบว่าหากมีอาการชาที่แขนซ้ายเฉียบพลัน ซึ่งอยู่ครึ่งซีกฝั่งซ้าย มักจะมีสาเหตุมาจากเส้นเลือดสมองตีบหรือแตก แต่ถ้าหากอาการชาเกิดขึ้นอย่างช้าๆ ก็มักจะเกิดจากสมองอักเสบ ติดเชื้อ หรือเนื้องอกในสมอง

We assessed the sta- bility of the study results by the trim and fill method in a sensitivity analysis or by excluding studies at a high risk of bias. Begg’s test and Egger’s test or funnel plot asym- metry were used to examine publication bias.”
